Carpet Repair
One damaged spot doesn't mean a whole new floor.
A burn, a pet-chewed doorway, a seam that's come apart; most carpet damage is a two-hour repair, not a replacement. When it's done right, you can enjoy your carpet without worry.
I cut a clean patch, source matching carpet from a closet or a leftover remnant, match the nap direction so the light hits it the same way, and bond it so the seam holds.

What I Repair
Pet damage — dogs digging at doorways and thresholds, cats clawing carpet at door edges and stair corners, chewed spots along baseboards.
Burn holes — cigarettes, candles, dropped irons, fireplace embers, curling irons, soldering.
Bleach spots and permanent stains — anything that won't clean out gets cut out and patched instead.
Failed seams — seams that have separated or frayed open.
Frayed and loose edges — carpet pulling away from a wall, a transition strip, or a doorway.
Tears and cuts — from moving furniture or careless appliance deliveries.
Stair damage — worn or torn nosings, loose treads, pet damage on the edges.
Delaminated or crushed areas — where the backing has separated from the fibers.
Damage down to the pad or subfloor — pad and tack strip get replaced as part of the repair, not patched over.
Pet urine is its own job — odor and contamination go into the pad and subfloor and can't be fixed with a patch alone. See Pet Urine Remediation.
